Eight-trigram Flying Dragon Palm is the most powerful form, the core part of
the Wudang Sanfeng natural style martial arts. Almost 400 years old it comes
from a Liaoning Lushan Daoist temple. The actions are unique and elegant, the

Master Shan Guiwen is good at Xingyi, Bagua Palm, and Bagua Fist and many
Wushu instruments. He has mastered the Taoist inner kungfu of Wudang, and
applied it with many martial arts weapons.

飞龙八卦掌是武当自然派武术的核心技术。她始创于昔日的辽宁医巫闾山大朝阳三清观道长。
三丰自然派八卦掌
武当三丰自然派乃张三丰真人所创，其上乘秘技有八卦飞龙掌，历来秘传于辽宁北镇医巫闾山大朝阳三清观内，不为俗家所知。
明末清初辽西医巫闾山是兵家争战之地。当年三丰祖师将八卦飞龙掌留在三清观，成为三清观的不传之秘，一直在上院代代单传。闾山三清观上院掌院道长、武当三丰自然派第二十二代掌门刘妙元仙长主事之后，遂将掌法传与朱诚光、于诚华等几位师兄弟，并同他们一起参悟易经原理，内丹道法，结合多年的技击经验，系统地完善了八卦飞龙掌。
武当三丰自然派的八卦掌分为天掌和地掌两部分。
地掌又称八卦龙形掌，是武当三丰自然派八卦掌的基础。天掌即八卦飞龙掌。欲修炼八卦飞龙掌，必须练好八卦龙形掌。
八卦龙形掌的内容包括桩法八式、八卦掌单操、转掌、八趟拳、八卦拳等等。
八卦飞龙掌的内容包括四步盘根，活盘转掌，基本八掌(即单、双、顺、续、合、回、龙蛇二式)，八掌中每掌又生出八掌，即八八六十四掌，飞走八门。器械有八卦飞龙剑、飞龙枪、飞龙刀、八卦钻心杆等等。
八卦飞龙掌的特点大致如下：
1、功架招式朴实无华，自然流畅。八卦飞龙掌的功架招式非常朴实，动作舒展大方，起承转合，严密自然。一举一动，端庄而又奇诡，沉稳而又飘逸，凝重而又轻灵，淳朴而又典雅，演练起来飘飘洒洒，美妙绝伦。
2、技击特点鲜明独特。八卦飞龙掌的体系是完完全全按照技击意义以及实战要求整合起来的。如顺形掌是训练以柔身化打为主，续形掌是用破解对方的化劲，以退为进的策略。
3、身法步法诡秘多变。八卦飞龙掌在地掌的基础上增加了许多独特的练习步法身法的独门方法，使其步法更加轻灵敏捷，身法更是奇幻飘逸。
4、功理功法深邃奥妙。三丰祖师曾提出“心死则神活，体虚则气运”的精论，八卦飞龙掌暗合此理论，体现了道家内丹之法与武术内功之术。如“无极虚无含一气”式，面向西北乾位自然站立，即暗藏了道家内丹的后天返还先天之深意，心法则以祖师之“凝神调息，调息凝神”为不二法门，以杳冥为极致，静立太虚，以待阳生。武术内功则以明劲暗劲为基础，参以精神，假借聚气爆发之法。
