Ma Lei, Chin Na specialist, teaches you the unique techniques of Chinese folk handshake and circle hold.

Seizing or Capturing ("Qin'na" or "Chin Na" in various Chinese spelling) skills are essentials of any Chinese martial arts. This program focuses on independent skills traditionally referred to as "Seventy Two Seizes". These methods are usually used in defensive against unarmed or armed opponent. Qin'na not only can be an effective method of self-defense, but also used as devastating counter-attack. It contains seizing, grabbing, joint locking, joint breaking, and can also be combined with striking/kicking techniques to form more complex self-defense sequences. The entire program (Part A and B) presents 35 various Qin'na methods, including barehanded seizing as well as defense against attacker with knife. The method is first demonstrated in full speed, then shown in slow speed broken into several parts.

All techniques are demonstrated by Ma Lei, one of first Chinese teachers of combat for police forces who was dispatched outside of the country. Ma Lei was also combat teacher for imperial guards in Ghana. His works include China's Hand Shake and Circle Hold Techniques, and Handshake and Circle Hold for Police Training.
