"Golden Lion Prize" - the national acrobatics competition - is held every four years in one city of China. It is praised as "OSCAR" of the acrobatic world, and represents the highest standard of Chinese acrobatics. The modern Chinese acrobatics has the characteristics of beauty, new and difficulty with fashionable package, mysterious performances and difficult techniques. Each "Golden Lion Prize" national acrobatics competition attracts hundreds of actors from tens of acrobatic troupes, who present performances of the highest standard in China under four acrobatic categories which include high altitude, ground, comics and magic.
