Ingredients:
Turmeric (rhizome)
Frankincense (resin)
Myrrh (resin)

Actions: Invigorates the blood, warms and unblocks the channels, dispels wind and damp, and transforms phlegm.

Indications: Helps relieving rheumatic pain, numbness or difficulty in moving joints, chronic lower back pain. Useful to chronic weakness, numbness, and pain of the extremities; possible paralysis; wind stroke.*

Directions: Take 6 pills each time, 1~2 times a day as a herbal supplement.
Do not use during pregnancy.

Notes: Xiao huo luo dan (Minor Invigorate the Collaterals Special Pill) is a classical expelling wind formula in TCM originally appeared in of Imperial Grace Formulary of the Tai Ping Era (Tai Ping Hui Min He Ji Ju Fang). In modern clinic, it is applicable to Apoplexy; Arthritis; Cerebral Vascular Accident.

As this formula is very invigorating and pungent, it should only be used in patients with a strong constitution. Do not use in hypertensive patients. Do not use in cases where there is yin or blood deficiency.

主要成分：没药、乳香、川乌、草乌、天南星、地龙。

功能与主治：祛风除湿，化痰通络，活血止痛。用于风寒湿痹。肢体筋脉疼痛，麻木拘挛，关节屈伸不利，疼痛游走不定。亦治中风，手足不仁，日久不愈，经络中湿痰瘀血，而见腰腿沉重，或腿臂间作痛。

服法与用量：口服，一次6丸，一日二次。孕妇忌用。

小活络丹来源于《太平惠民和剂局方·卷一治诸风》。小活络丹是由乌头、地龙、乳香、没药、南星等药物组成，具有活血化瘀，舒筋消肿、行气止痛、祛风及破瘀生新等功能。常用于治疗风寒湿痹证所致四肢拘挛、筋骨疼痛及跌打损伤等症。

运用要点：1．本方药性温燥，适用于痹证偏于寒性者。以肢体筋脉挛痛，关节屈伸不利，舌淡紫苔白为证治要点。
　　2．风湿性关节炎、类风湿性关节炎及骨质增生症等属风湿血瘀者，均可用之。
