The compilation of the Atlas of Diagnostic Method of TCM was to meet the requirements of inspection diagnosis as recorded in the Textbook of TCM diagnostic Methodology by Shanghai College of TCM and the Textbook of TCM Science for all nation higher schools of medicine and materia medica. It contain more than 250 typical photographs of general or local inspection of spirit, color, shape and attitude of human body.

The materials of this Atlas were gathered from clinical practice, which reflected really the pathological features of various diseases. The selection and arrangement of its contents has fully displayed the unique characteristics of inspection diagnosis in TCM. Hence it is of great help to beginners in mastering the methods of TCM inspection diagnosis as well as understanding the significance of differentiation of different pathological signs.

This Atlas is recommended to be used in teaching and learning TCM in colleges, universities and secondary medical schools.
