Ingredients:
Asian ginseng (root)
Rice (seed)
Pinellia (rhizome)
Jujube (fruit)

Actions: Nourishes the Lung and Stomach yin, generates fluid, moistens dryness, directs rebellious qi.

Main indications: For a person with depletion of yin (vital essence) in the lung and stomach, with reverse flow of qi (flushing up). The discomforts are cough with thin sputum, hiccup, dry throat, thirst.*

Directions: Take 3 pills each times, 2 times a day.

Notes: Fluid Balance Decoction is a prepared herbal formula of the classic TCM prescription, "Mai Men Dong Tang" (Ophiopogonis Decoction), from Synopsis of the Golden Chamber. In modern clinic, it helps chronic bronchitis, chronic pharyngitis, gastritis, peptic ulcer, pulmonary tuberculosis, with above symptoms.

服法与用量：口服，一次3粒，一日2次。

麦门冬汤处方源于《金匮要略》。本方具有镇咳及促进唾液分泌、改善支气管粘液纤毛输系统、消除早期矽肺、降血糖、抑制嗜酸性细胞等作用。

临床应用以肺胃阴虚，气火上逆，咳唾涎沫，短气而喘促或呕吐，咽喉干燥，舌红少苔，脉虚数为辨证要点。寒痰壅肺之咳逆、脾胃虚寒之呕吐，本方不宜。现代常用于慢性支气管炎、支气管扩张、慢性咽喉炎、肺炎、百日咳、矽肺、肺结核等属肺胃阴虚，气火上逆者。亦治胃及十二指肠溃疡、慢性萎缩性胃炎等属胃阴不足，气逆呕吐者。
