Gui Pi Wan is a herbal supplement based on a classical prescription, Decoction for Invigorating the Spleen and Nourishing the Hear, in TCM. Gui Pi Wan, 200 pills one bottle, 160 mg each pill, manufactured by Lanzhou Traditional Herbs.

Actions: 1. To tonify qi and blood. 2. To strengthen the spleen and heart.

Indications: Weakness of both the spleen and kidney, or deficiency of qi and blood, metrorrhagia, leukorrhagia, subcutaneous bleeding due to failure of the spleen to keep the blood circulating within the vessels.*

The recipe originates in Prescriptions for Succouring the Sick. Recent studies have proved that this recipe is effective for promoting digestion and absorption, strengthening metabolism, consolidating the constitution by nourishing the body, regulating the excitement of the cerebrum, promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis as well as arresting diarrhia. It can be modified to treat other cases such as disturbance of the vegetative nerve, menopausal syndrome, cardiac neurosis, insomnia, amnesia, anemia, thrombocytopenia, hypoproteinemia, chronic gastroenteritis, nervous gastritis, uterine functional bleeding that are ascribed to insufficiency of both the spleen and heart.

Directions: Take 8-pill once time, 3 times a day, as herbal supplement.
