This mixed fistic play is one of the representatives in southern school. It has benefited much from the boxing skills of such schools as Cai, Li and even Fo. Its features are as follows: upright posture of the body; flexibility of the waist; relaxation of the shoulder; steady techniques of steps; uniqueness of breathing and kicking; perfect bend between attack and retreat. Indeed, it's reputed as the classic fistic play, which is hard earned throughout China.

The fistic play is demonstrated by Luo Zhihong and Li Weifeng, who both have captured the nationwide gold medals of Chinese Traditional Martial Arts Competition.
