The compilation of this book is marked by conciseness, diagrams and systematic introduction to the basic knowledge, theory and techniques of acupuncture and moxibustion as well as specific therapeutic methods for the treatment of various diseases for the benefit of the international readers in learning acupuncture and moxibustion. Therefore in the arrangement of contents and compilation, the following aspects are emphasized:1. Systematic introduction to the knowledge of meridians and acupoints.2. Emphasis is made on the relation between basic theory and clinical techniques. Apart from introduction to the location of acupoints, the ways to locate acupoints are also discussed. The discussion does not include topography and techniques for acupuncture and moxibustion.
