Huo Xiang Zheng Qi is prepared according to the famous herb book Tai Ping Hui Min He Ju Fang of Song Dynasty (1151AD). The herbs of this formula is considered to help maintain regularity and a healthy digestive system. It is often used to cope with discomforts during the hot summer season and restore your energy.

This is a common-used remedy to help inducing diaphoresis, resolving damp, regulating the functions of the spleen and the stomach. For colds with accumulation of damp in the interior made by headache, dizziness, feeling of heaviness in the head, sensation of stuffiness in the chest, distending pain in the epigastrium and abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea.

Ingredients: Chinese giant hyssop (entire plant), Poria (sclerotium), Magnolia (stem), Tangerine (outer peel), Cyperus (rhizome), Chinese licorice (root), Tangerine (dried rind of mature fruit), Perilla (leaf), Fragrant angelica (root)

Functions and indications: restores the body’s energy while expelling pathogens, regulates and harmonizes the stomach and intestine, stops vomiting and diarrhea.

Use for chronic gastritis, superficial, erosive and atrophic gastritis, etc. peptic and duodenal ulcer, gastric pain and distension, gastric hyperacidity and discomfort, epigastric pain, dyspepsia, etc.*
