Poria & Cassia Combo Decoction is a prepared herbal formula of the classic TCM prescription,
Decoction of Poria, Bighead Atractylodes, Cinnamon and Licorice, from Synopsis of the Golden Chamber.
Ingredients: Fu Ling (sclerotium poriae cocos), Gui Zhi (ramulus cinnamomi
cassiae), Bai Zhu (rhizoma atracylodis macrocephalae), Zhi Gan Cao (honey fried
radix glycyrrhizae uralensis).
Functions and Indications: warming and
resolving the retention of phlegm and fluids, strengthening the spleen and
excreting dampness. Used to fullness in the chest and hypochondria,
palpitations, shortness of breath, coughing up clear and watery sputum,
dizziness, pale tongue and swollen with white slippery or greasy coat, slippery
and either wiry or soft pulse, and as well as aural vertigo at present.*
Directions: As a dietary supplement, take 3 capsules each time, two times daily.
