Synopsis:

Dynasty Zhou is the first dynasty that was chronicled. It experienced a period of almost 300 years' prosperity and wane, from King Wen's Book of Changes and the Eight Diagrams, Master Jiang's fishing at the Wei River, to King Wu's defeating King Zhou and ending Dynasty Shang. At the end of Dynasty Western Zhou, politically, something ridiculous happened from to time King Zhou You made a fire to tease his feudal dukes, and Dynasty Zhou was destroyed as a result of a belle's chuckle.  China came to a time of disorder and diversification, during which old rules and standards were abandoned and great reforms were carried out.

During the 300 years, many kingdoms rose up and many thinkers presented different views which caused intense debates. This period of big changes set a solid cultural basis for descendents. Meanwhile, Slavery that had already been existing over 2000 years in China ended up. A completely new era rose from oriental horizon.

This title of Kingdoms of Spring and Autumn Period of Eastern Zhou Dynasty is elaborately collected. It recreates those widely spread idiomatic stories related to this period. While viewers retrospect the past, they can understand the profound culture of ancient China better.
