Lu Guangzhao was born in Ji County, Henan Province, China, 1914. He attended to Beijing National Art College in 1934 and studied painting from Qi Baishi, Pu Ru, and Huang Binghong. He is a famous Chinese painter, one of four great flower-and bird painters of Beijing Qi style. Now he serves as fellow of Central Research Institute of Culture and History, member of China Fine Artists Association, president of Qi Baishi Art Research Society.
