Five-Tenths Decoction is a prepared herbal formula of the classic TCM prescription,
Decoction Invigorating Yang for Recuperation, from Errors in Medicine
Corrected. Ingredients: Astragalus root, Chinese angelica root, Red
peony root, Earth worm, Chuanxiong rhizome, Safflower, peach kernel.
Functions and Indications:
invigorating qi and promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis from the
channels. Used to hemiplegia of sequelae of apoplexy, deviation of the eye and
mouth, intricate and obscure speech, involuntary drooling, atrophy and
disability of lower limbs, frequent urination or involuntary enuresis, white
tongue fur and slow pulse.*

本方可治中風引起之中樞神經失控，為治療氣虛血瘀，半身不遂的常用方。
故對腦血管意外後遺症、小兒麻痺後遺症及其他原因引起的半身不遂、截癱等證，屬氣虛血瘀者均可酌情使用。只有氣虛血瘀型中風病人才宜使用補陽還五湯治療，這類病人舌色紫黑、或有瘀斑、舌苔較膩，如果肝火較旺者，舌色較白，這時應減少黃耆用量，改用疏經活血湯、龍膽瀉肝湯、鎮肝熄風湯等調理。
【用法用量】 用法用量：口服，一次3 粒，一日2次。
