Peking Opera Shi Xiu Spies the Zhu Family Village

The story of Peking Opera Shi Xiu Spied into Manor of Zhu Family was adapted from the famous classic novel Water Margin which described that an army of Liangshan bandit led by Song Jiang rebelled against the corrupted government at the end of the North Song Dynasty.

The Zhu Family colluded with the government of North Song Dynasty, so Song Jiang, the header of Liangshan bandit, decided to attack the manor of Zhu Family. Before attack, Song Jiang dispatched Shi Xiu and Yang Lin to spy into witting of the manor of Zhu Family. Shi Xiu disguised himself as an axman. When he went into the manor, he got lost. With the help of an elder called Zhong Li, he found the way and stole a white plume that acted as an entry identification of the members of Zhu Family. When Song Jiang attacked the manor, Shi Xiu blazed a way for the army. And they quickly broke through the manor. Shi Xiu finished his job.
