Actions: Enriches and nourishes Kidney and Liver Yin.
Indications: Weakness and soreness in the lower back and knees, lightheadedness, dizziness, or vertigo, tinnitus or hearing loss, nocturnal emissions, night sweats, chronic sore and/or dry throat, hot palms and soles, painful or difficult scanty urination, wasting and thirsting, and tidal fever.*
Directions: As dietary supplement take 8 concentrated pills each time, three times a day.
Caution: It should be avoided in cases of diarrhea due to Spleen Qi deficiency.

调节免疫功能：研究发现，六味地黄丸对多形核白细胞的免疫功能有明显的双向调节作用，且具有一定的防癌作用。
对肾功能的影响：研究发现，六味地黄丸合用糖皮质激素治疗肾病综合征患儿比单用糖皮质激素治疗者疗效明显提高。中老年人常服六味地黄丸对肾功能有一定的保护作用。
延缓衰老：六味地黄丸能明显增加阴虚动物体重，增强其抗疲劳、耐低温和耐缺氧能力。
