Actions: Clears Gallbladder heat, regulates Qi, reduces phlegm, and regulates the stomach.
Indications: Used to help a person with a lot of Phlegm and being timid due to the imbalance between the Gallbladder and the Stomach. Related symptoms are nausea; vomiting; profuse foamy, white color sputum; dizziness; vertigo;
palpitation; insomnia; timidity; restlessness; anxiety; nervousness; seizures accompanied by profuse sputum; focal distention of the chest; bitter taste in the mouth; mild thirst. Tongue usually has a greasy coating. Pulse is usually
slippery.*
Directions: Take 8 pills each time, 3 times a day.
Notes: This formula is a modern preparation of the ancient prescription Wen Dan Tang (Warm the Gallbladder Decoction) in TCM, originally appeared in Golden Mirror of the Medical Tradition (Yi Zong Jin Jian). In modern clinic, it is
applicable to Chronic Tracheitis; Bronchitis; Pulmonary Emphysema; Insomnia; Timidity.

服法与用量：口服，一次8丸，一日 3次。
温胆汤首出于唐代孙思邈的《备急千金要方》，由半夏、竹茹、枳实、橘皮、生姜、甘草组成。用于治“大病后虚烦不得眠”之“胆寒症”。后人多用《医宗金鉴》所载之方，由上方减生姜用量而加茯苓，主用于胆虚痰热之证。本方为治疗胆郁痰扰所致不眠、惊悸、呕吐以及眩晕、癫痫证的常用方。临床应用以心烦不寐，眩悸呕恶，苔白腻，脉弦滑为辨证要点。现代常用于神经官能症、急慢性胃炎、消化性溃疡、慢性支气管炎、梅尼埃病、更年期综合征、癫痫等属胆郁痰扰者。
