Xiyangmei Taiji Kung Fu Fan is another dynamic and very enjoyable fan form
(after the Tai Chi Kung Fu Fan ) created by Professor Li Deyin and
incorporating a few Kung Fu moves for extra interest. It seems to lend itself to
being performed in groups but its more compact nature compared with other
weapons forms makes it particularly suited to modern times. Many of the moves are
familiar from the empty hand, sword form and especially the sabre or broadsword
form but there is the extra factor of the snapping open and closed of the fan.

夕阳美太极功夫扇是中国人民大学教授李德印继太极功夫扇之后创编的姐妹篇，目的是丰富老年朋友健身活动内容，增加趣味性、多样性、增强健身效果。

全套共56个动作，分做六段和两次过门。活动场地大约5米X2米。与太极功夫扇相比，两者都是以中老年朋友健身为创作目的，运动强度中等，全套结束心率约为了120/分，其中跳跃、发力动作不超过150/分。在内容上，两套动作力求相互补充，避免重复。本套内容在动作变化、难度和表演效果上有所提高。针对一些老年朋友初学时可能遇到的困难，本片在教学中对几个难度较大的动作介绍了两种练法，大家可以根据自身情况加以选练。
