Program and Content Description

Ziwu Yuanyang Tomahawk, a weapon of “eight trigram palm” school, is created by Dong Haichuan in The Qing Dynasty, also named “Riyue Qiankun Jian”. “Yue” is made up of two parts, a male one and a female one, which close and disport in the movements alternately, just like a pair of mandarin ducks. So it is named “Ziwu Yuanyang Tomahawk” It is practiced in a peculiar way, and the directions of pace is not fixed, changes are found in the movements as you wish. The form has a lot of varieties, easy to attack and difficult to be defended. The main special techniques are: a cyan dragon turning around, a lion opening his mouth and hanging a stamp in front of one’s breast. It is a rare and typical form of Chinese folk martial arts.
