LOU SHIBAI（1918- ）
Lou Shibai was born in June 1918 in Liuyang County, Hunan Province, graduated from Beijing Furen University Fine Art Department, 1942. When he was 14 years old, he became a last student of the great painter Qi Baishi. His specialism is drawing figure, flower and bird. He is member of China Fine Artists Association, Deputy Chief of Beijing Chinese Painting Research Society, Director of Beijing Calligraphers Association.
His artworks exhibited many times at home and abroad. His masterpieces are collected by China Fine Arts Gallery and other art institutions at home and abroad as well as individual collectors. He published Album of Paintings of Lou Shibai, etc.

原名少怀，湖南浏阳县人。1918年生于北京，1942年毕业于北京辅仁大学美术系，曾任北平京华美术学院讲师、北京画院一级美术师、中国书画函授大学名誉教授、中国美术家协会会员、北京中国画研究会副会长、北京市书法家协会理事、北京燕京书画社顾问、北京市人民对外友好协会理事、北京师白艺术研究会艺术顾问。出版有《娄师白画集》、诗集、技法集等。
