It is a modification of the fundamental prescription "Six Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia" by adding Anemarrhena and Phellodendron, being primarily used for syndromes of kidney yin deficiency and hyperactivity of liver yang. For clients with chronic disease, it is advisable to take Pill of Six Ingredients with Rehmanniae after purge of pathogenic fire.*
